A = Obligatory subjects to complete for both full time- and correspondent doctoral students. The subjects are available for attendance in the first semester only. Lectures are held 5 times/semester (5x2 classes). It is assessed by five - grade evaluation.

It is mandatory to enrol for 2 research seminars per semester.

Research seminar: attending a regular class, usually taught by the consultant or a different lecturer, the topic of which is related to the selected dissertation topic of the doctoral student. It is assessed by three - grade evaluation.

B = Obligatory cluster of subjects, out of which 4 shall be selected both for full time and for correspondent doctoral students. The subjects are available for attendance in one specific semester only. Lectures are held 5 times/semester (5x2 classes). It is assessed by five-grade evaluation.

It is mandatory to enrol for 2 research seminars per semester.

Research seminar: attending a regular class, usually taught by the consultant or a different lecturer, the topic of which is related to the selected dissertation aim of the doctoral student. It is assessed by three - grade evaluation.

Semester 3.

Selecting the doctoral programme shall be in harmony with the topic of the dissertation; four subjects taught in this semester shall be applied for. At least three of these shall be subjects taught in the selected doctoral programme, and one can be selected from a different programme if the doctoral student is interested.

Doctoral symposium (detailed oral and written report elaborating on the doctoral student’s progress in writing the dissertation) - as required by the curriculum, to be completed in the course of semester 4.

Doctoral symposium (detailed oral and written report elaborating on the doctoral student’s progress in writing the dissertation) - as required by the curriculum, to be completed in the course of semesters 4.

At the end of Semester 4, as a closing of the Training and Research Phase and as a prerequisite for starting the Training and Dissertation Writing Phase, doctoral students are to pass a complex exam. This exam is to assess and evaluate the students’ training and research progress. Doctoral students are bound to submit their doctoral dissertation within three years after taking the complex exam.

Doctoral symposium (detailed oral and written report elaborating on the doctoral student’s progress in writing the dissertation) - as required by the curriculum, to be completed at least on two occasions in the course of semesters 5 – 8.

Further credits needed in every semester are to be acquired via individual research, by fulfilling the items as of the list below:
